T&T (“the App”) is operated by Create Rush LLC, a company incorporated in Delaware, United States. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the TanTime mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Email Address (Optional)

You may optionally provide your email address to join our community list. This is collected during onboarding or in the Profile tab. Your email is used solely to send relevant product updates and is never sold or shared with advertisers.

1.2 Tanning Session & App Usage Data

We collect and store tanning-related data locally on your device, including:

Tanning session duration, UV index, SPF used, and shade ratings
Skin type (Fitzpatrick type I–VI) and default SPF preference
Vitamin D estimates calculated from session data
Notification preferences and app settings

All session data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and is never transmitted to our servers.

1.3 Location Data

We request your device location solely to fetch the current UV index for your area. Location data is sent to Open-Meteo (an open-source weather API) to retrieve UV readings. We do not store your location on our servers.

1.4 Camera

The App uses your device camera as a visual reference to help you identify your Fitzpatrick skin type. The camera preview is used on-device only. No photo is captured, saved, or uploaded at any time.

1.5 Apple Health (iOS, Premium)

If you enable Apple Health integration, the App writes UV exposure and estimated Vitamin D synthesis data to your Apple Health profile. This data is processed entirely on-device and is governed by Apple's HealthKit privacy rules. We do not access or store your Apple Health data on our servers.

1.6 Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the App is used and to improve functionality. Analytics data includes app interactions, screen views, and feature usage. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events beyond an anonymous device identifier.

1.7 Device & Technical Information

We collect limited technical data for app stability, including:

Device type and operating system (iOS or Android)
App version

2. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate the App:

RevenueCat – subscription and in-app purchase management
Supabase – stores community email addresses (if you opt in)
Open-Meteo – provides live UV index data based on your location
PostHog – anonymous usage analytics
Apple App Store / Google Play – payment processing

Each third-party service processes data in accordance with its own privacy and security standards.

3. Payments & Subscriptions

All payments and subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play using RevenueCat.

We do not store payment card details. We only store subscription status locally on your device for feature access control.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

All tanning session data is stored locally on your device. You can delete your session history directly within the App at any time.

If you submitted your email address, you may request deletion by contacting us at info@createrush.io. We will remove your email from our systems within 30 days.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Request correction or deletion of your data
Restrict or object to data processing
Request data portability

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your data. Session and preference data is stored locally on your device. Email data stored in Supabase is encrypted at rest and in transit.

However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

T&T is intended for users 18 years of age or older.

8. Cookies & Tracking

T&T does not use cookies or advertising identifiers. Analytics via PostHog uses an anonymous device identifier only and does not enable cross-app tracking.

9. Medical Disclaimer

T&T is not a medical device. UV exposure recommendations are estimates based on published Fitzpatrick skin type data and are not a substitute for professional dermatological advice. Always use appropriate sun protection.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the App and on our website, and the “Effective Date” will be updated accordingly.
