Does the Apple Watch show the UV index?
The Apple Watch doesn't show a live UV index on its own, but the T&T app puts the current UV index right on your wrist. Open T&T on your Apple Watch to see the real-time UV index for your location at a glance — no need to reach for your phone.
What does UVI mean on Apple Watch?
UVI stands for UV Index — the international 0–11+ scale maintained by the World Health Organization with WMO, UNEP and ICNIRP that describes the intensity of sunburn-producing UV. In T&T on Apple Watch, the UVI reading tells you the current UV so you can judge session context — always alongside appropriate sun protection.
